How to find your duplicates in OnlineFundraising

Senest redigeret:

If you do not have a CRM system, you should at least once a month find and merge duplicates directly in OnlineFundraising. This makes your work easier when reporting to SKAT (the Danish Tax Agency).

Export a list of Contacts

To export the list, you need to:

  • Go to Export in the OnlineFundraising main menu

  • Click New Export in the top-right corner

  • Select Contacts

  • Choose Select field and then Created timestamp

  • Select before and tomorrow’s date (this ensures that all created records are included)

Find duplicates in Excel

Once you have downloaded the file, open it in Excel. Here you can search for duplicates based on phone number, email address and CPR number.

  • Select the cells you want to check for duplicates (e.g. email or address – it is possible to check for duplicates based on name, but there may be several people with the same name who are not duplicates)

Note: Excel cannot highlight duplicate values in the Values area of a pivot table.

  • Select Home > Conditional Formatting > Highlight Cells Rules > Duplicate Values
