MobilePay Subscriptions/Recurring Agreements: How to get started

Senest redigeret:

o receive payments via MobilePay Subscriptions, your organisation must be registered with MobilePay, and you need to have the Recurring Payments product linked. This product allows you to set up/update recurring agreements on the phone, in the street, and on your website, where you can also collect additional information about the donor and obtain consent.

This guide will help you set both correctly so that, among other things, you can refund payments in the future. Follow the entire guide – all steps are important.

Does your organisation already have an account with MobilePay? Then skip to step 2 below.

1: Create an account with MobilePay

Follow this link to register your organisation with MobilePay: Register your organisation with MobilePay.

You need to log in with MitID and then follow the guide:

Here, MobilePay will require information about you and your organisation, as well as details about the organisation's management. Vipps/MobilePay is obligated to ensure that the agreement is not used for money laundering or fraud.

  • Corporate Diagram: If your organisation is owned by one or more companies, you must submit a corporate diagram with CVR/CPR numbers, ownership shares, and voting rights in percentages for the companies and individuals with ownership and voting rights of 10% or more.

  • Identification: For each person with more than 25% ownership or control, you must submit a copy of a valid passport or driving licence, as well as a health card (two ID pieces per person). The same applies to authorised signatories and the CEO, if no one owns more than 25%.

Note: The health card must have been issued after 1st August 2014, and all documents must be of good image quality with clear and legible letters and numbers.

If you have any questions, you can contact MobilePay at +45 4514 4440 on weekdays between 09:00 – 16:00, or reach out to us. Unfortunately, we cannot complete the guide on your behalf.

2: Add the Recurring Agreements (Subscriptions) product

Once you have created your user account (or logged in if you already had one) select Order Solutions and Online Payments.
Note: You can only have one integrator per MobilePay agreement. If you already have recurring payments/Subscriptions, please contact support.

Next, you need to select Recurring Payments:

Note: When you are a customer with OnlineFundraising, you receive a discount on the displayed price. See the current costs here.

3: Customise the product

Next, the product needs to be customised in four simple steps.

Setting up the solution: Here, you select that you want to use an official partner and search for OnlineFundraising.

Display in the MobilePay app: Enter the organisation's name and upload your logo. Be aware that the logo is displayed in a circular shape in the app, so the text may be cropped.

Bank account and turnover: Where should the funds be paid out to, and an estimated turnover projection. Provide your best estimate!

Services and products: Here, you must first choose a category. You can click on the plus sign next to the Non-profit category and select from there:

Next, you need to specify what the solution will be used for (e.g., Donations) and select yes for subscriptions and no for gift cards:

Once you have created the agreement with OnlineFundraising as the integrator, we will automatically be notified when everything is ready on MobilePay's side. We will then link the product to your solution in OnlineFundraising and notify you.

4: Check payout settings

Last, but certainly not least, you need to check your payout settings. Find the agreement in the menu on the left (under Online Payments) on your MobilePay account, and check the settings for Settlement. It must not be set to instant payout, as this would prevent you from refunding the amount via OnlineFundraising.

Therefore, make sure that your settlement settings match the following:

If they do not, it must be adjusted with MobilePay.
