This guide will walk you through the steps to embed a form on your website by downloading and inserting a script from OnlineFundraising.
Step 1: Download the Form Script from OnlineFundraising
To begin, download the script needed to embed your form:
1. 1. From the main menu in OnlineFundraising, select Form Builder.
2. Choose the form you wish to embed, which will take you to its editing page.
3. Click the Download Embed Script button located on the right side under Actions.
The script will download to your computer as a .txt file.
Step 2: Insert the Script on Your Website
Next, copy the contents of the downloaded file and paste it onto your website where you want the form to appear.
1. Go to the page on your website where you can edit the content.
2. Select the text editor if possible. Most editors allow code insertion, ensuring that the editor does not alter or remove any characters in the script. The image below shows an example of this.
3. Copy and paste the entire content of the .txt file you downloaded, then save your changes.
Once the form is embedded, navigate to the page to see it live. Any changes you make to the form in OnlineFundraising will be instantly reflected.
If the form doesn’t appear, your editor might not support code insertion. Contact your web administrator first, and if needed, reach out to us for further assistance.
