How to add multi-factor authentication to an existing account

Senest redigeret:

If your account has been transferred from a previous version (OnlineFundraising version 4.0), your account will be available but without multi-factor authentication. New users set up their password and multi-factor authentication together, but loyal users from before will first need to link MFA to their account.

1. Log in to OnlineFundraising via access.onlinefundraising.dk

2. Go to Users > Your user

3. Click on Setup Multi-Factor Authentication

4. Now, open the app you use for multi-factor authentication. Don't have an app yet? You can learn more about multi-factor authentication and the available option here.

Scan the QR code with your app. You will then receive a code that you need to enter on the screen:

5. Multi-factor authentication (MFA) is now linked to your account in OnlineFundraising.
Log in again – you will now receive a new code in your app.

In the future, when you log in, you will first need to enter your username and password. After that, open your MFA app, where you will find a one-time code. Enter this code into the login flow, and you will then be able to access the OnlineFundraising solution as usual – just in a more secure way.

If you later wish to change the app from which you receive your one-time code, you will need to reset your MFA in OnlineFundraising. This can be done in your user profile under Users.
