You have the option to automatically import payment data from MobilePay numbers. This is done using the Payment Receiver module, which you can get an introduction to here. For each MobilePay number you wish to import data from, you need to create them as processors. If you have multiple numbers – for example, for different purposes – you will need to create multiple processors.
This guide explains how to add a new processor in OnlineFundraising, as a part of your initial setup. We assume you've followed the guide to add credentials first (either full number or just four digits).
Are you just looking to add a new number to an existing stack? Follow this guide instead, as you need to add a couple of steps in MobilePay/Vipps portal as well.
First, find Payment Receiver (1) in the main menu of OnlineFundraising. Then click on Processors (2) and Add new (3) in the top right corner.
Next, the following window will open:
Now it's time to add your MobilePay number.
- Processor name: The name you want to use to identify the specific MobilePay number. Choose a name that makes sense for your organisation – e.g., "MobilePay xxxxx - Campaign A".
-
Select credential: Here, make sure you select the correct credential depending on whether you want the full phone number (choose MobilePay MyShop – Donation API) or just four digits plus the amount (cheaper).
Don’t see more than one option here? Then follow this guide to get the full phone number, and this one if you’re fine with just four digits. - Detail (number): Here, enter the specific MobilePay number you wish to add.
- Purpose acc. code: Add the purpose code you use for the relevant number, which will help identify the purpose of the payment. Read more here.
- Metadata: Extra data that you can link to the number to make it easier to identify and categorise – e.g., in your CRM system.
Finally, click Save in the top right corner, and your MobilePay number will now be added as a processor in OnlineFundraising. From now on, you will be able to manage payments coming through this number directly in the system.
