Add an Extra MobilePay Number in Payment Receiver

Already receiving data from a MobilePay number (sales unit) in OnlineFundraising (via Payment Receiver) but just set up an extra number? Then this is the guide for you!

If you haven’t created your credentials yet, you’ll need to setup the integration between MobilePay/Vipps and OnlineFundraising first. 

The process is quite different depending on whether you need only part of the number + amount, or the full phone number. Are you in doubt which guide to use? Please don't hesitate to reach out. 

Add Partner Access and Adjust the Report

First, log in to the MobilePay portal.
Once your new number/outlet is set up, you’ll need to:

  1. Add partner access to the new number.

    • Go to ReportsAccounting Partners tab → Edit Partner Access.

    • Search for OnlineFundraising and update the settings so your new number is included in the reports we can pull.

  2. Adjust the settings for the new number so it includes the data you need.

    • By default, you’ll only get four digits + amount.

    • If you want the full phone number, you’ll need to follow this guide and also allow us to receive the full report.

    • You can adjust this under the outlet by selecting Full Donation Report (note there’s an extra cost).

Add the New Processor in OnlineFundraising

Now, just add the new number in OnlineFundraising.

  • Log in and go to the Payment Receiver menu.

  • Click the Processors tab.

  • Hit Add new on the right-hand side.

You’ll see a pop-up where you can set up your new number:

Processor name: The name you’ll use to identify this MobilePay number. Choose something meaningful for your organisation – e.g. “MobilePay xxxxx – Campaign A”.

Select credential: Make sure you pick the right credential depending on whether you want the full phone number (Donation API) or just four digits + amount (cheaper).
 

If you don’t see multiple options here, follow this guide for the full number.

Detail (number): Enter the specific MobilePay number you want to add.

Purpose acc. code: Add the purpose code you use for this number – this helps identify what the payment is for. [Read more here].

Metadata: Any extra data you want to link to the number to make it easier to identify and categorise later – e.g. in your CRM.

Finally, click Save in the top-right corner – and your new MobilePay number is now added as a processor in OnlineFundraising. Data will come soon!
